Conditions of Sale, Shipping & Return Policy

1) Return of goods will only be accepted when product is shipped in error from our warehouse and only with written approval. All of our approvals will include the issuance of a “Return Goods Authorization Number”. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of all packages or cartons containing returned goods.

2) Any approved returns would be subject to a 25% restocking charge and the product must be returned in the same original condition with freight PREPAID to our warehouse. Any goods returned to us without prior written approval or an authorization number can be refused and returned by the carrier to the shipper.

3) There is no exchange of plastic tanks and all sales are final.

4) All prices are subject to change without notice.

5) Special order products (non-stock items) can not be cancelled once the order has been placed

Shipping & Handling Policy:
Before receiving and signing for your shipment, please read this policy carefully.

Truck Access Requirements:
Trucks up to 53 ft. in length may deliver your merchandise. In most cases they cannot enter residential areas, as there is insufficient room to maneuver and turn around. When this is the case, prior arrangements must be made with our sales department to deliver your order to a predetermined location, preferably a commercial business address.

Possible Additional Shipping Charges:
Additional shipping charges will be incurred and billed directly to you, the customer, if the delivery truck has to deliver your tank to a residential address or if a special truck (with power tailgate) is needed to make your delivery. Road conditions must be conducive to safe operation of the delivery truck, which is always determined by the driver Shipments that are re-directed to an alternate location, by the customer, may incur additional shipping charges, which will be billed directly to you the customer.

If your storage tank happens to be over-sized, or when any of the following are required or encountered: Special Permits, Pilot Cars, Special Routing, Road Construction, Re-Routing of Truck, Truck Size Restrictions, Customer Delays, etc., additional charges may be incurred and billed directly to you the customer.

Standard Limited Warranty:
Our manufacturers warrants to the purchaser that if any molded tank proven to be defective in material or workmanship within 1 year (3 years on Industrial Tanks) from date of original invoice from the factory then the manufacturer will (at company option) either repair or replace said tank. The manufacturuers warranty is limited to the value of the tank itself and specifically excludes the cost of shipping, installation and/or removal or consequential damages.

The  Standard Limited Warranty does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, improper application, neglect, shipment damage, material wear, accident or improper installation.

Our manufacturers also warrants to the purchaser that if any tank fitting or attachment product is proven to be defective in material or workmanship within 1 year from the date of original invoice and that Dedicated Plastic Tanks Inc. is notified within 15 days after such defect is discovered, Dedicated Plastic Tanks Inc. or the original manufacturer will (at company option) either replace or repair said part. The Standard Limited Warranty does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, improper application or recommendation of material, neglect, shipment damage, material wear, accident or improper installation or maintenance.
